Delete your account
TrekMap · requested deletions are immediate, not queued
What gets deleted
Everything. There is no partial deletion and nothing is retained for later re-activation:
- Your account, username, display name, avatar and profile
- Every saved place, trip, journal entry and draft
- Uploaded photos and cover images
- Deal watches, alerts and notification subscriptions
- Comments you posted, and your trek-mate connections
- Your sign-in identity, so the email address is released for reuse
It is immediate and irreversible. If you want a copy first, export your data from Settings → Account & privacy → Download my data before deleting — a JSON file of everything we hold.
Three ways to do it
- In the app (fastest). Profile → Settings → Delete account, on both iPhone and Android.
- Here, using the form below.
- By email. Write to support@trekmap.co from the address on the account. We reply within two business days.
Checking whether you're signed in…
What we keep, and for how long
Nothing that identifies you. Server request logs containing IP addresses roll off on their normal retention schedule and are not linked back to a deleted account. Anything already published to the public feed is removed along with the account. See the Privacy Policy, or the Support page for anything else.
