TrekMap Child Safety Standards

Effective date: October 1, 2026 · Applies to the TrekMap app (Soluvo LLC d/b/a TrekMap) on all platforms.

TrekMap has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we prevent, detect and respond to it.

#Who can use TrekMap

TrekMap is only for people 18 and older. We check age at sign-up, use age information from app stores where the law allows it, and delete accounts we find belong to anyone under 18.

#What is prohibited

  • Any sexual content involving a minor, including drawings, computer-generated or AI-generated images, and sexualized descriptions.
  • Grooming, sextortion, solicitation, trafficking, or arranging harm to a child.
  • Sharing or linking to CSAM, or advertising where to find it.
  • Any other content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers a child.

#Reporting

  • In the app: the ⋯ menu on any pin, trip, comment, profile or message → Report → *Child safety*.
  • By email: support@trekmap.co.
  • Reports of child safety issues are prioritized above all other reports.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

#How we respond

  1. We restrict access to the reported content immediately.
  2. We review it as fast as possible, ahead of other queues.
  3. We preserve the content and related account information as required by law, rather than deleting it first.
  4. We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and cooperate with law enforcement.
  5. We permanently ban the account and any related accounts, and we block re-registration where we can.

#Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws in the places where TrekMap is available, and with the child safety policies of the App Store and Google Play.
